A BIT ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY
The word photography comes from two ancient Greek words: photo, meaning “light,” and graph, meaning “drawing.” in terms ,”Drawing with light” is a way of describing photography. When a photograph is taken, light or some other form of radiant energy is used to record a picture of an object or on a light-sensitive surface.
Photography today has become a very powerful means of communication and a mode of visual expression that touches each and every one of us in many different ways. For example, photography has become popular as a means of crystallizing memories. Most photos taken today are mere snapshots– records to document personal events in our lives.
